Macro fun!!

Giddy doesn't begin to describe how ridiculously excited I was to get my new macro lens!  I know, I'm a dork, but I'm cool with that.  I had so much fun playing with it and I cannot wait to take more photos with it!  Here are a few of my first shots.

Love these shells...

If you've never had Silver Coast wine, you should.  It's quite delicious!

This little fly was SO teeny!  Thankfully his feet were stuck in a spider web so he stayed pretty still for me...until I bumped him with my lens hood and set him free.  Oops!

I have a good dozen or so more photos like these.  Sometimes I get a wee bit carried away in my post processing.  :)

The coolest spider I've ever seen...

I love the little seedling just barely hanging on.

And, well, this wasn't a macro shot...just a cute pig tail shot  :)  I love this little girl!

  1. Great ones!! I don't have a macro lens, but I've certainly become fond of the closeups on flowers & such. The dandelion is really cool.

And I love that shot of MG. When I saw it on FB, I wasn't sure if it was her or you when you were small, cause she looks just like you. But, her eyes gave it away, cause you have a special way of capturing their bright eyes in b&w. Lovely as usual!!
